The Brief

Ibn Daud Books have published a new book The Handbook of Spiritual Medicine and required a full set-up of their social media presence. This included developing a social media strategy, Facebook and Instagram profile set up and optimisation, two weeks worth of social media content plans and scheduling of the content. The client wanted to gather more of an understanding about social media marketing and was also keen on training and coaching as well as consultancy on influencer marketing and other marketing tactics.

The Strategy

In terms of establishing the brand on social media, we set up and optimised Ibn Daud Books’ Facebook and Instagram pages, ensuring it included all of the key information a customer would require. We also ensured that profile and cover images were optimised. 

Our team developed a social media strategy to focus on awareness of the brand and the customers consideration process, as these are the first steps to any new brand or company establishing their social media presence. We also provided a consultancy service for future content ideas, influencer marketing and other social media tools they can benefit from. 

After the strategy and goals for the campaign were established, we drafted monthly content plans including creating imagery and graphics, draft engaging captions, hashtag research and directing users to follow, like or to visit the website to find out more.

The Outcome

The campaign was a great success, especially on Instagram. We saw an organic increase of over 200 followers in just under 2 weeks, which is fantastic. There was a 521% increase in engagements on the channel, which helped boost the following and awareness of the brand.
